Intro to Newborn Essentials and Safety Course

$250.00

  • 3 part course taught by Dr. Michelle Grzybowski

  • All information covered in 1 session, over 3 hours

  • Designed for 2 primary caregivers

  • The class takes place in the comfort of your own home in a private session

  • Includes

    • Car seat safety inspection

    • American Heart Association Family and Friends CPR course covering infant CPR and choking

    • Educational session covering newborn diapering, feeding, breast feeding, formula feeding, sleep, and safety. All information provided is evidence-based, from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention

  • Additional caregivers are welcome for an additional $25 dollars per person

  • If not located in Denver, can perform an educational session online which includes a modified version of the Intro to Newborn Essentials and Safety course for $150.00. Would still recommend a formal infant CPR course and car seat check in your state.

Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspection

$50.00 per car seat

  • Did you know approximately 75% of car seats are used incorrectly? Car seat installation is confusing!

  • Individual inspection of your car seat to ensure it is installed correctly in your vehicle

  • Inspection occurs at your house

  • Car seat inspection takes 1-2 hours

  • Information regarding your specific car seat will be provided to ensure confidence when handling the seat

  • Can be performed on any car seat or booster seat for older children

Infant CPR

$75.00 per class

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Family and Friends CPR course

  • The course is designed for 2 primary caregivers

  • The class takes place in the comfort of your own home in a private session. Can perform CPR education online but would not include mannequin practice

  • The course lasts approximately 1 hour

  • Ensures caregivers can recognize signs of cardiac arrest and respiratory distress

  • Covers CPR including compressions, managing the airway, delivery breaths, AED use, and infant choking maneuvers

  • The course includes verbal teaching, videos, written information, and mannequin practice

  • This course does not result in formal AHA CPR/BLS certification

  • Additional caregivers are welcome for an additional $25 dollars per person
